Tibetan clothing:

Tibetan costume is a material culture. Its formation and development have close relations to the natural environment, climate, production methods and lifestyles of human beings. In order to adapt to the natural environment, people should wear different clothes to face the varied climate conditions in Tibet. Costumes  in different regions show distinctive features, and thus constitute the colorful Tibetan clothing art.

Typical examples include the clothes in Lhasa (Shannan), Kampot of Nyingchi, Nakchu, Ngari (the peacock dress), Qamdo and east Nakchu.
